Many times now I have been to Graceland, the last home of Elvis Presley; but my first visit is most cherished. I played on his driveway, walked through his home, touched his things. His gun collection, wardrobe, cars, planes---they were all still there as if he would be back soon. And I imagined just what it would be like if I had met Elvis. Not the celebrity Elvis. The man Elvis. I like to imagine we would have been friends.
I sat where Elvis sat.
I played on Elvis' front steps.
My favorite--the Music Room--where Elvis would unwind with his friends gathered around the piano to sing gospel songs.
